The Microstart manufactured to BSEN 60947-4-2 is designed to control three phase AC Motors with nominal loads up to 25 amps. The controller switches 2 phases with the 3rd continuously connected. Initial torque is adjustable as well as independent user adjustments of Ramp up and Ramp down. Overload protection is not provided in the Controller and must, therefore, be installed separately. The Single Phase Soft Start and 3 Phase Soft Start can be supplied in an IP65 enclosure which is ideal for applications where an existing direct-on line starter exists.
